Burlington Electric Joins SeeClickFix

Our longtime partner city, Burlington, VTlaunched SeeClickFix in 2012. Now, Burlington Electric Department (BED) has elected to join the city and address resident concerns through the program. Residents can send the department reports about power outages, shoes on power lines, streetlight outages, utility hole problems, and more. BED General Manager, Neale Lunderville discussed the ease with residents can engage with the department:

BED is happy to be moving toward a more seamless way for our customers to report problems. SeeClickFix makes reporting very easy and should reduce response time.

Residents can report non-emergency issues using the SeeClickFix app for iPhone and Android, the map widget on BED's website, or seeclickfix.com. In urgent situations (outage, power line down, trees/branches on power line), residents should instead call the department directly at (802) 658-0300.
