San Mateo County, CA launches "Report It! SMC"!

San Mateo County, CA is launching their new app "Report It! SMC"! We're thrilled to continue our long tradition of partnering with California municipalities. The County is initially focusing the program in North Fair Oaks, and is excited to expand to other areas of unincorporated county as time moves forward. In addition, the initial focus will be on addressing "illegal dumping" requests.

Located on the Peninsula of the San Francisco Bay Area, San Mateo County is a gorgeous and vibrant place for its 781,451 residents to work, live, and play. Residents enjoy a range of natural habitats in the County's parks, beaches and reserves, with vista points of both Bay and Pacific Ocean.

The new mobile app "Report It! SMC" will allow citizens, residents and visitors to report illegal dumping issues quickly and easily via web tools and mobile apps. These reports are then forwarded directly to County departments to respond and address..

Furthermore, the platform offers a centralized and integrated management system, whereby County officials can communicate with citizens, track issues and monitor success. This unified and citizen-connected platform will increase both the quality and efficiency of service throughout unincorporated San Mateo County.

The mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, residents can send reports through seeclickfix.com.

We look forward to working with the County and residents to promote openness, engagement, and accessibility! To learn more about SeeClickFix, head to gov.seeclickfix.com.
