Amherst, MA launches Amherst Connect with SeeClickFix!

We're thrilled to announce Amherst Connect! This is the latest Massachusetts town in the Commonwealth Connect program to launch the platform.

Amherst is pronounced without the "h" ("AM-erst") which has lead to the popular, local saying: "only the 'h' is silent". This saying references both the accurate pronunciation of the town's name, as well as the town of 37,819 residents' vibrant and active political scene. Amherst hosts five colleges including Amherst College, Hampshire College, and the University of Massachusetts -- contributing to a diverse, inclusive community that affords residents a variety of educational and cultural opportunities.

Amherst Connect allows citizens, residents and visitors to report problems such as potholes, graffiti, drainage and flooding quickly and easily via web tools and mobile apps. These reports are then forwarded directly to the town with all the information needed to get the job done.

The Commonwealth Connect mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition, residents can send reports on the town's website or at seeclickfix.com.

We look forward to working with the town and residents to promote openness, engagement, and accessibility! To learn more about SeeClickFix, head to gov.seeclickfix.com.
