How Natick, MA Will Use SeeClickFix!

We're excited to announce that the Commonwealth Connect program continues to expand! The Town of Natick, Massachusetts, has just launched!

Here's a snippet from an article in the MetroWest Daily News about how the town will be using the platform:

"It makes it easier," Kathleen Lentini, the town's communications and information specialist, said about the new system. "People are able to use a desktop (computer) to still report problems, but this will enable them to use mobile devices," including smart phones and tablets.
People can report problems electronically rather than calling town departments. And, reports will go directly to the appropriate personnel, unlike the old online reporting system in which the webmaster had to direct them to the correct person, Lentini said.
Natick DPW Director Jeremy Marsette said the photos will help staff assess the severity of the situation and what equipment and supplies they will need to bring to the site to fix the problem. Without a photo, staff often have to go out and assess the situation and then come back with the correct equipment and supplies.

The Commonwealth Connect mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, residents can send reports to the town using the widget on the town's website and seeclickfix.com.

We look forward to working with the town and residents to promote openness, engagement, and accessibility! To learn more about SeeClickFix, head to gov.seeclickfix.com.
