The City of Amsterdam just launched -- making it our most recent partner in New York! We're honored to be working with this city commonly known as "small city, big heart".
The city's 18,620 residents take "small city, big heart". . . to heart! It's a place that takes pride in a being safe community that overflows with small-town warmth and spirit. Even on the city's website, it reads: "here, people truly care for each other -- embodying the term 'good neighbors'". This is a city that's clearly has a strong flavor of high-school pep rallies, large and loud community picnics, and a dedicated city staff.
Their new mobile app will allow citizens, residents and visitors to report problems such as potholes, graffiti, drainage and flooding quickly and easily via web tools and mobile apps. These reports are then forwarded directly to departments throughout the city with all the information needed to get the job done.
Furthermore, the platform offers a centralized and integrated management system, whereby city officials can communicate with citizens, track issues and monitor success. This unified and citizen-connected platform will increase both the quality and efficiency of service throughout Amsterdam.
We look forward to working with the city and residents to promote openness, engagement, and accessibility! To read a press release from the city, click here. To learn more about SeeClickFix, head to gov.seeclickfix.com.
