Okotoks in Alberta, Canada launches a new citizen mobile app!

Okotoks, a town in the Province of Alberta, Canada, is launching a new citizen mobile app! We're thrilled with this new partnership, and can't wait to tell you a bit about Okotoks.

Okotoks, with a population of 24,511, is the largest town in Alberta. The town's name comes from "ohkotok", which is the Blackfoot First Nation word for "rock". This name is fitting not only because the world's largest known glacial erratic is near the town, but because it grounds the surrounding area in rich history. Folks can learn more about the town's past by picking up a map at the Stations Cultural Centre and taking the Heritage Walking Tour. Then, residents and visitors can stroll downtown in the vibrant, shopping district of Olde Towne Okotoks and pick for the delicious eateries along Main Street.

The town's new app, calledOkotoks CLICK 'N FIX,will afford citizens, residents and visitors the ability to report problems such as potholes, graffiti, street lighting and snow clearing easily through web tools and mobile apps. Then, these reports will be forwarded directly to departments throughout the city that will utilize the valuable information to fix the issue.

In addition, the platform is a centralized and integrated management system, where city officials will be able to communicate directly with citizens, while tracking these issues and monitoring their progress. By harnessing this unified and citizen-connected platform, Flossmoor will increase both the quality and efficiency of service throughout the city.

The Okotoks CLICK 'N FIXapp is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, residents can send reports through the town's website andseeclickfix.com.

We are excited to work with Okotoks and residents to promote openness, engagement, and accessibility! To learn more about SeeClickFix:
