Since it was founded in 1915, the town of Kluang has been a place built for connection. As the administrative capital for central Johor, Kluang was the nexus of a main railway line linking north to south Malaya. This railway not only helped the town in its growth, but linked Kluang to the surrounding municipalities.
Now, with over 145,000 citizens, DAP Kluang was looking for a way to forge connections within their sizable community. In partnership with Xtrategize and SeeClickFix, DAP Kluang has officially launched their SeeClickFix 311 mobile app for their citizens to report non-emergency issues to the DAP Kluang Community Center, who will then coordinate the resolution of issues with the respective Kluang town bodies.
With the free, easy-to-use app and web tools, Kluang citizens will now be able to provide town staff in coordination with the DAP Community Center, with pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more -- valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently. Through SeeClickFix, Kluang will also offer a centralized and integrated management system, whereby DAP Community Center officials can engage further with citizens, track issues and monitor success.
