SeeClickFixprevented 15,913 LBS of CO2 emissions in September!

This past month, SeeClickFix participated inNew Haven's goNHVgo competition!

GoNewHavenGo was a collective effort of the New Haven Department of Transportation, Traffic, and Parking, CTrides, the New Haven/León Sister City Project, Yale Transportation Options, and many others to bring together organizations and individuals to use active transportation options. During the month of September, goNewHavengo was hosting a contest for businesses and individuals to see who can use their cars the least and travel sustainably the most.

SeeClickFix won the goNewHavengo medium-sized business employee competition by preventing 15,913 LBS of CO2 emissions during the month of September! In fact, one SeeClickFix employee, Cari Tate, won most overall CO2 emissions prevented in the individual competition!

In addition to the overall competition, we also had a little competition going with the employees of Neighborhood Housing Services, a local non-profit whose mission is to revitalize selected neighborhoods in New Haven. If SeeClickFix received more points during goNHVgo*, we were going to go take one of NHS's incredible class in their Homeownership Center (check out these awesome examples!).

If NHS had received more points during goNHVgo*, SeeClickFix was going to teach a class to new homeowners, community groups, and block watch leaders about how to use SeeClickFix and leverage it in their community. We'll be doing this anyway! After all, the real prize is working together to help make out city an awesome place to live.
