Why did Bexley, OH’s Mayor choose SeeClickFix?

The ABC 6 news team of Bexley, OH aired a story last night on the City of Bexley's new SeeClickFix app that is making "reporting a problem in the city easier than ever".

Bexley (pop.13,445+) isn't the first city in Ohio to useSeeClickFix. This past January, Toledo, OH(pop.282,313+) also jumped on board to start using the platform to improve citizen services.

Here's a couple of our favorite quotes from the ABC 6 News story, including interviews with Mayor Ben Kessler and the Bexley Service Director:

"It works like this: When a person spots a problem, they can take a picture or video of it, add a description, and submit it. Simple as that."
-Adam Aaro, ABC 6 News

"A lot of the times you get out there to the issue and you'll try to figure out what's going on. But with a picture, it lets us hone in on exactly what it is. Saves us time in the long run too. Plus it's fast. They can do this while walking probably five steps. They can have this open, done and reported."
-William Gorman, Bexley Service Director

"As people are walking, they can report [an issue] within walking 5 steps. They can have [the issue] open, done, and reported."
-William Gorman, Bexley Service Director

"This is a way for us to hopefully consolidate some of those issues."
-Mayor Ben Kessler

"It's a way to notify the right people about concerns, instantly."
-Adam Aaro, ABC 6 News

"It's a stream-lined process, with a little help from technology."
-Adam Aaro, ABC 6 News
