Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) has partnered with SeeClickFix to announce a new platform “Talk to CMHC” that will allow members of the CMHC community and its visitors to report issues and ideas to the Center’s administration. With this partnership, CMHC has become the first health care organization in America to provide this unique service with SeeClickFix.

With the free SeeClickFix mobile app and web tools, CMHC staff, clients, and visitors will now be able to give feedback using pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more — valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently. The organization has been wanting a way to collect feedback and track responses using mobile and Internet tools. Previously, they had been using a paper system with comment cards that was more challenging and time-consuming to manage. They chose SeeClickFix because they were impressed with the power of the tool to collect, manage, and respond to these comments.

In addition, CMHC’s Plant Operations staff members, who handle large numbers of projects and requestseach day, were interested in the back-end organization. The SeeClickFix platform provides CMHC officials with a centralized issue management system to process issues from creation to resolution. The back-end is easy to learn and enables them to greatly simplify and streamline their processes.

“We are excited to have this powerful new tool, Talk to CMHC, to help me and other CMHC administrators become fully responsive to people’s observations about how we can improve,” said Michael J. Sernyak, MD, CEO of Connecticut Mental Health Center.  “As a public mental health center, CMHC is a complex place doing extraordinary work. We look forward to engaging all members of our community in this opportunity to use technology invented right here in New Haven to make ourselves better.”

“We welcome SeeClickFix as a partner and are proud to be the first health care organization in the country to use its technology,” said Robert Cole, Chief Operating Officer of Connecticut Mental Health Center. “We hope people will use Talk to CMHC to send us feedback about everything from our physical environment to our clinical programs and services.”

"We’re proud to be partnering with the Connecticut Mental Health Center, now one of many organizations in the City of New Haven to use SeeClickFix,” said Ben Berkowitz, CEO & Founder of SeeClickFix. “CMHC is a leader in providing expansive, community-based care to their patients and we look forward to helping them achieve their goals in the months and years ahead.”

As a community mental health center serving people with mental health and addiction problems, CMHC’s mission is always to provide the highest quality clinical care to their clients. They hope “Talk to CMHC” will help them serve their client-citizens better, help reduce staff stress, and give them more opportunities to celebrate the amazing work that goes on in the organization—-because they are tracking their progress much more clearly.

The Talk to CMHC mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, citizens can send reports to CMHC’s State of Connecticut and Yale University websites, and through seeclickfix.com.
