The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) has been known for prioritizing services for their 626,562+ residents across the state. And now, with the launch of SeeClickFix, VTrans is an innovative leader in not only citizen services, but openness and transparency.
“We at VTrans have prioritized our efforts to improve upon our customer service for all users of the State of Vermont transportation network. SeeClickFix will enable reports of issues to be streamlined to our managers who are responsible for the maintenance and operations of the area and provide for a quicker response and increased efficiencies for our maintenance crews and the traveling public.”
Todd Law, Maintenance Engineer, VTrans, Maintenance and Operations Bureau
Now that VTrans has officially launched this new suite with a mobile app and website tools (powered by SeeClickFix), the public will be able to report road issues simply and directly to the Agency. From potholes to traffic light outages, VTrans will be able to centralize, address, and provide feedback as the issue is being fixed with SeeClickFix’s backend management tools.
In addition to mobile app tools, citizens can have the ability to report directly from the Agency’s website through SeeClickFix’s dynamic website widget:
Here at SeeClickFix, we’ve loved the opportunity to work with VTrans as they’ve implemented SeeClickFix internally. Erik Filkorn, Public Outreach Manager for VTrans, has been working with Katie Timlin, SeeClickFix’s Customer Success Representative to rollout the program. Katie has enjoyed getting to know Erik and the dedicated staff at VTrans. She even attended TransComm to present with Erik Filkorn, Public Outreach Manager for VTrans, about the way VTrans will use SeeClickFix to become more efficient and reduce costs.
“Working with the VTrans team has been a pleasure. I’ve appreciated how thoughtfully they’ve approached the roll-out of the SeeClickFix system within their organization. This is a huge and important project and VTrans is implementing it in a deliberate, intentional way which will lead to it’s inevitable success in the state of Vermont.”
