“Government – especially local government – needs to be as responsive to its citizens as possible. In the 21st century, the technology exists to allow us to meet our citizens where they are: on their mobile devices, on the internet, on social media. This new platform will transform how we communicate with our constituents and will allow us to deliver services where and when they want it.”Jersey City will have their own dedicated mobile app for SeeClickFix, “Jersey City Connect”; it can be downloaded on the iTunes and Google Play stores. Citizens can also access SeeClickFix directly from the Jersey City website or at seeclickfix.com/jersey-city.
-Mayor Steven Fulop
Last week, Jersey City, NJ went live with SeeClickFix! SeeClickFix will allow its 250,000+ citizens to report quality of life concerns quickly and easily from smartphone apps as well as from Jersey City’s website. These concerns will be submitted directly to the City where they are then routed and assigned to the appropriate City department based on the location and type of problem.
