Redford Township, MI launches SeeClickFix for 48,000+ residents

Today, Redford Township, MI is launching SeeClickFix, a citizen reporting tool for its 48,000+ residents. Redford residents can now engage directly with the Township government on their website or through a custom branded mobile app called Report It! Redford (for iPhone and Android). Residents are encouraged to report neighborhood issues like graffiti, illegal dumping, blight and much more, with descriptions, photos, videos, and automatic geolocation.

Like other municipalities, Redford Township is making its commitment to citizen engagement and transparency clear with their partnership with SeeClickFix.

With Report It! Redford, residents can report all kinds of quality-of-life issues to the local government and rest assured that their report will be acknowledged and worked on. Depending on what type of issue is being reported, the report will be routed automatically to the correct department, which will keep residents up-to-date about the progress. With this new initiative, Redford Township seeks to engage a wider audience, increase efficiency, and promote government transparency in the region.
