Pinson, AL Launches SeeClickFix for 7,000+ residents

Today, Pinson, AL is launching SeeClickFix, a citizen reporting tool for its 7,000+ residents. Community members in Pinson can now communicate directly with the Pinson town government about quality-of-life neighborhood issues like illegal dumping, graffiti, potholes, storm issues, and more on the web and through a custom branded mobile app called Pinson SeeClickFix.

PinsonAL-SCF-FINAL design Pinson is one of the leading cities in Alabama to partner with SeeClickFix, and joins Huntsville in declaring a commitment to civic engagement and government transparency. Furthermore, Pinson aims to increase efficiency as well as engagement and transparency through the implementation of better citizen-facing tools like Pinson SeeClickFix.

The app’s easy-to-use interface gives residents the power to become active participants in local government. While residents can still call or email about issues, the city hopes that a new and easy way to report will increase the number of residents who engage. It allows residents to provide the city with photos, descriptions, and even videos of the issue with automatically geolocation. Residents can rest assured that if they report an issue, it will be routed to the correct department and that residents will be kept updated about the progress on fixing the issue.

With improved web and mobile apps, as well as a seamless connection to the government’s workflow, Pinson aims to work more efficiently to improve the community. The town is excited to encourage more residents to get more involved in their communities and help create a better Pinson for everyone.
