Using digital tools, residents can now report neighborhood issues like graffiti, broken street lamps, potholes, traffic signs, and much more, and connect with not just city government but also their neighbors. The apps allow residents to include photos, videos and descriptions, and also enables automatic geo-location for improved accuracy. These issues will be automatically routed to the right department, and residents will be updated on progress. In addition, Gilbert residents can create Watch Areas that allow them to be notified about issues that are reported in their neighborhoods.
