Los Altos Hills, CA Launches SeeClickFix for 8,500+ residents

Today, the Town of Los Altos Hills, CA is launching Los Altos Hills Connect, a custom mobile app powered by SeeClickFix. Residents can now connect directly with the town about quality-of-life issues in their neighborhoods like potholes, graffiti, illegal dumping, and more. The mobile and web tools will allow for the inclusion of photos, video, descriptions, automatic geolocation and more. In addition, residents can be kept in the loop about progress on issues and can connect with other town news and services as well.

Los Altos Hills joins a vibrant network of SeeClickFix partner cities throughout Northern California, including Burlingame, South San Francisco, Foster City, Oakland, Menlo Park, Vallejo, Fremont, and many more. Los Altos Hills is signaling a continued commitment to increasing resident communication and government transparency through technology-enabled initiatives.

The ability to include descriptions, pictures, and videos of the issue will help the correct department to get the job done more quickly and efficiently. With Los Altos Hills Connect, when a resident reports an issue, it will go directly into the town’s issue management system, streamlining the process from report to resolution. The town hopes to engage more residents in the service delivery process, and keep them updated about all the work that the town has been doing and will continue to do.

Los Altos Hills’ drive to engage residents in a meaningful way and increase internal efficiency and transparency is evidenced in this partnership. This is another step towards a more engaged Los Altos Hills and a more connected Northern California.
